Photonic or optical solutions are often applied in sensing systems to accurately measure and acquire an image, distance, strain etc. During this presentation an PM air-quality sensor will be presented designed and manufactured by Prodrive Technologies for automotive applications. The combination of high precision optics, dust, and challenging environmental conditions in automotive put high demands on both design manufacturing.
